State Qualifiers and broken records! Congratulations to the State Qualifiers from last night's regional track and field meet. Westview's 4x800 relay team of Antonio Pedroso, Bentley Ryall, Elijah Watts, and Noah Bontrager will progress to State with their relay time of 7:56.20. Noah Bontrager earned 2 Regional championships in the 1600 and the 3200 meter races, with times of 4:12.38 and 9:10.34, respectively. Dallas Yoder broke 2 school records: one in the 200 meter race that he set himself last week with a new time of 22.19 seconds, and one in the 400 meter race with a new time of 49.16 (state qualifying time), beating the record Noah Bontrager set last year. Congratulations to all of these Warriors!

Reminder that the 8th grade promotion ceremony will take place on Friday 5/29/26 at 1:30 pm. High School graduation will take place at 7:00 pm. Both will be held in the main gym. Guests should enter through the south doors (closest to the gym).

SCHOOL RECORD! Westview Senior Dallas Yoder has set a new school record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.47 seconds. The previous record was held by Kaiden Liechty with a time of 22.67 seconds.

Westview Varsity Boys Track has multiple Sectional Championship races and a Sectional Runners-Up that will all move on to Regionals. The Westview 4x800 relay team of Antonio Pedroso, Bentley Ryall, EJ Watts, and Noah Bontrager placed first at Sectionals with a time of 8:03.86. Noah Bontrager also placed first in both the 1600 meter (with a time of 4:21.22) and the 3200 meter (with a time of 9:23.83). Dallas Yoder placed first in both the 200 meter (with a time of 22.47 seconds - a new school record!) and the 400 meter (with a time of 50.42 seconds). The 4x400 relay team of Dallas Yoder, Tyler Stutzman, Bentley Ryall, and Noah Bontrager received runners-up at Sectionals with a time of 3:28.05. Well done, Warriors, and best of luck at Regionals!
