Housing, groceries, health care — the things folks in this community actually talk about. Last week Don Coover, Democratic candidate for Kansas' 2nd District, came to southeast Topeka and sat down with the team at SENT to hear it firsthand. Showing up counts, especially where people are at.

I recently had the opportunity to tour SENT, a non-profit organization focused on taking a grassroots and holistic approach to supporting under-resourced neigborhoods in Shawnee County.

⏰ ADVANCE VOTING ends MONDAY, AUGUST 3 at NOON at the Shawnee County Election Office (SW Van Buren & SW Croix). If you want to vote early in person, don't wait!

📅 ELECTION DAY is TUESDAY, AUGUST 4. All polling locations will be open 7 AM – 7 PM. Find your polling place before you go!

✉️ STILL HOLDING A MAIL BALLOT? Don't put it in the mailbox — hand-deliver it instead:
➡️ Drop it at the staffed drop box on the north side of the Shawnee County Election Office, OR
➡️ On Election Day, drop it off at ANY polling place in the county by 7 PM.
