That's a wrap for the Flambeau track season! Our athletes competed in LaCrosse last weekend against the best runners, jumpers, and throwers in the state.

Kyle Blackstock came up short of a podium performance but took 8th place on pole vault. He was able to clear the 13'6" height at state last weekend.

Chanse Ludescher had a great throw of 160’3” which got him into finals and finished in 9th place.

Reese Roehl’s first throw in shot put was an outstanding 39’ 10.5”! This got her into finals for 3 additional throws and she broke her own PR and school record that was previously set in May. Reese finished the day securing 3rd place and earned a spot on the podium.

Ashley Lawton finished 15th in division 3 the triple jump. Her 2nd (and best) jump of 32-10” resulted in the sole of her shoe coming apart. With help of a neighboring athlete, she secured a pair of shoes to get her last prelim jump in.

Today’s shout out goes to Jeff Zimmer (Bus Driver & Groundskeeper). Thank you for all you do!
