Hey everybody, this is John Spain. I have been the drama director for the last 3 years. Two years ago Darla Spain, my best friend and buddy in the whole world, directed (with a little help from me) "Meet Me In St. Louis", which was a great success. Because of the demand for drama of about 80 students, Darla will be teaching two sections of drama this year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. One of those two semesters will be dedicated to the production of a play. I would love for it to be "Arsenic and Old Lace", but it just depends on the type of dramatic talent she has. She is one of the best directors I have ever worked with and pulls the most out of the students, I know that whatever she selects will be wonderful. So, Darla Spain is the new drama director at Tonopah Valley High School, and I will be assisting her in anyway that I can, as I have done for the last 43 years. Hope to see a lot of you at school next year. You drama crazies that graduated, I wish you the best, drop by when you get a chance.
