Girls golf had their second tourney of the year. The team finished 9th at the Wamego tourney. Paityn Van Middlesworth tied for 8th individually. The team will get back to work and improving this week. Next tourney Wednesday!!

Gabby took on leadership in her group for English. She was designated as the group leader and she did fantastic! She kept her group on task, working and helped others! Great job!
🟡GROW — Kayden Marlowe
Kayden has shown growth through his commitment to his classwork and higher expectations of himself this year. He has had an excellent start to the year!
⚪SUPPORT — Lilly Bedtke
Lilly has been a rock star with starting Chieftain Floral! She has stayed after school to help set up the shop. She not only was supporting Chieftain Floral but she was also supporting her teacher and advisor. She is such a thoughtful student!

FCCLA chapter officers attended the district Kick Off at Gardner-Edgerton HS. This was an opportunity for them to collaborate with other schools, build leadership skills, and plan their Program of Work for the upcoming year. This event was planned and hosted by the District E-East Officer Team. Tongie currently has three district officers from our chapter: Marissa Dick, Josie Roe, and Kaylin Wiehe.

Tonganoxie High School is proud to help our local VFW set up the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall at VFW Park.

The Wall is a 3/5-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., standing six feet tall at its center and stretching nearly 300 feet. It bears the names of more than 58,000 American service members who gave their lives during the Vietnam War.

We are honored to play a small part in bringing this powerful tribute to Tonganoxie and helping our community remember, reflect, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We encourage everyone to stop by VFW Park Friday, Saturday or Sunday to pay tribute.
