With warmer weather arriving, we’re seeing more e-bikes and e-scooters out on the road and sidewalks. As their use continues to grow, it’s important for riders and parents alike to understand the state and local laws that apply—especially for kids who use them regularly and adults who rely on them for daily transportation.

This week, we recognize the voices behind the scenes… our dispatchers.

When the call comes in, they’re there.
When officers need help, they’re there.
No hesitation. No delay. Just steady, calm, and focused.

They hear people on their worst days, in their hardest moments, and still manage to bring order to chaos.
A voice that reassures.
A voice that guides.
A voice that sends help when it matters most.

What they do isn’t always seen, but it is always felt.

To our dispatchers, thank you for the work you do every single day. This City of Tonawanda Police and Fire Departments do not function without you.

🖤💛Happy National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week🖤💛
