Volunteer Fire Department training:

Recent winter trainings have focused on patient care, backcountry rescue techniques, coordination, and use of aerial support resources.

Our next training day will be this Saturday, March 28th from 8am to 4pm.

These hands-on trainings help ensure our responders are prepared to serve safely and effectively in all conditions. If you notice increased activity around the station or in the surrounding area that day — it’s all part of keeping our community ready.
Thank you for your continued support of your local fire district and the volunteers who serve.

Did you know?

The Mt. Hull Volunteer Fire Department isn’t just here for the fires, we’re also your first responders when you call 911 for a medical emergency!

In Fact, last year alone we responded to 53 medical calls. When a medical alert comes in, we’re dispatched immediately and usually arrive before the ambulance. We assess the situation, take basic vital signs, and relay important information to LifeLine, our local ambulance service, so they are prepared when they arrive on scene.

Because many roads and driveways in our area are tough to navigate, especially in winter we often help transfer patients to a safer, more accessible location for the ambulance pickup. (Yes, we’ve even had to dig out an ambulance out of the snow a time or two)

Our volunteers are proud to provide this vital service for our community

A message from our Commissioners:

Hey Mt. Hull, did you know? Our annual revenue from property taxes is just over $14,000. Yearly. Our annual insurance cost is $9,500. That leaves $4,500 for: repairs, fuel, equipment, etc.. That's why we send trucks on resource fires. So we can do things like repair our heating/cooling.

We don't want to levy any more taxes on you our neighbors if we can manage it. Thank you.
