UPCOMING ROAD WORK:
Chip Sealing Begins June 15th! 🚧

Our citywide preservation project is moving into its next phase. Starting Monday, June 15th, crews will begin chip sealing over 50% of our city streets!

The project will only take 3 days and will move quickly through town.

✨WE NEED YOUR HELP!✨

Please move all vehicles out of the construction areas before work begins. To keep the project on schedule and ensure a smooth finish, any vehicles left on the street will unfortunately have to be towed.

Check the map and schedule below to see exactly when crews will be on your street so you can plan ahead.

🚧 Street Improvements Coming to Tonasket! 🚧

We have some exciting news! Thanks to a $1.5 million grant from the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board, over 50% of our city streets are getting a facelift this summer!

What’s happening?
We’re "Chip Sealing" our roads to make them last longer. If you noticed the crack sealing work last year—this is the final step!

The Plan:
Patching & Prep: Fixing the rough spots first.
Sealing: A fresh layer of sealer and chips.
Sweep: Once it's set, we’ll sweep away the loose gravel.

⚠️ Important for Residents:
Start dates are not set but let's start to prepare! This project is starting soon!!

Clear the Way: This project will roll through town and is not happening all at once. Please move ALL vehicles off designated streets before work begins in your area.

Parking: You can park back on the street 48 hours after treatment.
Drive Slow: Please keep speeds down to protect your paint job and our workers!

Starting Points: 2nd St (between State & Antwine), Tonasket Ave, Jonothan St, and Havillah Rd.
