The Ocean County Health Department’s Division of Clinic Services was proud to participate in 100 Waves for Recovery, connecting with the community to raise awareness about opioid overdose prevention, recovery, and available resources.

Back to school can mean big changes for breastfeeding moms. Here are some ways to support mom as she returns to work or school:
1. Offer support with baby care so she can rest
2. Help with storing and washing the breast pump
3. Check in and ask "How can I help?" Check out the post to see more! A little support can make a big difference.

Today, August 31, is International Overdose Awareness Day, and the Ocean County Health Department is proud to participate in Ocean Goes Purple, a countywide initiative led by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office in recognition of National Recovery Month.

Together, we can reduce stigma, raise awareness, and show our recovery support.
