Yesterday, Pleasant Plains First Aid had two ambulances in service to meet the demands of a busy holiday day. Our responders answered numerous calls, providing care and support wherever it was needed. We are proud of our volunteers’ dedication and commitment to keeping the community safe, and we wish everyone a peaceful and safe holiday season.

This past Saturday night, Pleasant Plains First Aid had the honor of celebrating the retirement of longtime Life Member Cathy Mulhern. Cathy has faithfully served as a volunteer EMT since 1992, holding every executive position and leaving a lasting impact on our squad. She is especially known for her monthly meeting prayer, a tradition that will continue. Thank you, Cathy, for your decades of dedication and service. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Equipment Upgrade Announcement

Rig 337 and 338 are now equipped with new Stryker Power-LOAD performance loading systems, and Rig 337 has also received a new Stryker cot.

These important upgrades improve crew safety, efficiency, and patient care.

Thank you to Stryker for their support, and to First Priority Group for the excellent service and installation.

Last night, Pleasant Plains First Aid members responded with two ambulances, alongside other agencies, to a motor vehicle accident with multiple patients. Due to the extent of injuries, a helicopter was requested for transport. 337 transported one patient to the landing zone while 338 cleared up and responded to another call in the town.
