A big thank you to the folks at Cloverdale Farm County Park in Barnegat for hosting two native plant classes this spring! It was wonderful to spend time with participants potting up native seedlings, creating a pollinator garden, and exploring the many benefits of native plants. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we look forward to future programs together. Happy planting!

We are happy to announce the launch of the Multisector Plan for Aging in Ocean County!

This plan aims to create a sustainable community that supports older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. The Age-Friendly Ocean County initiative presents a clear roadmap with effective strategies to help residents age safely and with dignity in their own homes.

Join us on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ocean County Library, Mancini Hall (101 Washington Street, Toms River, NJ 08755). We welcome you to explore the Age-Friendly Ocean County initiative. Please register by Thursday, June 18, 2026, at https://go.rutgers.edu/agefriendlyoc2026. Lunch will be provided for everyone who registers.

This event is organized by 35 Street Consulting, LLC. It will bring together public health, social services, and cooperative extension networks. We are committed to improving community health and ensuring fair access to resources.
