MCMS welcomes Mrs. Curtis as our new assistant principal.
🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Andrea Curtis! 🎉
Monroe County Schools is proud to announce the selection of Mrs. Andrea Curtis as the new Assistant Principal of Monroe County Middle School!
Mrs. Curtis brings a wealth of educational experience, leadership, and dedication to student success. Throughout her career, she has served as a high school educator, regional instructional consultant, and leader in curriculum and instructional improvement. Her work has included supporting high-quality instructional resource adoption, facilitating professional development, coordinating state testing efforts, and coaching educators across the region.
Mrs. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University (2000), a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands (2018), and an Education Specialist degree from Asbury University (2026). She also earned certifications in Principalship, Supervisor of Instruction, and Director of Pupil Personnel through Asbury University in 2026.
Her passion for education, collaborative leadership style, and extensive experience make her an outstanding addition to the leadership team at Monroe County Middle School.
