Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends, or enjoying a little Irish spirit, we want to remind everyone to keep safety at the end of your rainbow 🌈

A little luck goes a long way—but preparation goes even further:
• Test your smoke alarms – working alarms save lives
• Never leave cooking unattended (especially holiday meals)
• Celebrate responsibly – if you drink, don’t drive 🍀🚫
• Keep decorations and candles away from anything flammable
• Have a plan – make sure your family knows how to get out safely

We want everyone in our community to enjoy a fun and safe holiday. Don’t rely on luck—make safety part of your celebration.

Thank you for donating to our local blood supply, Tomball!

On Wednesday, Oct. 15, the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center collected 20 units of blood from 19 donors during their quarterly blood drive, hosted at Tomball Fire Station #1.

Every unit collected supports patients in need across our region, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who makes a difference through donation. We're already looking forward to the next blood drive in January!

Anything with a lithium-ion battery—phones, laptops, e-bikes, power tools—can become a fire hazard if it’s not charged safely. Always use the charger that came with the device or one approved by the manufacturer. If the cord only works when you bend it just right, it’s time to replace it. Charging something big like an e-bike, scooter, or power tool with a lithium-ion battery? Do it outside. Use a flat, dry area away from direct sunlight, anything wet, kids, or tripping hazards.
