The City of Tolleson is continuing efforts to support the cleanup and revitalization of properties throughout our community.
In October 2023, the City was awarded a $500,000 Brownfield Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These funds can be used to identify and assess properties, plan for potential cleanup, create an inventory of brownfield sites, and support community outreach.
Grant-funded activities will focus on properties throughout Tolleson city limits as we work to better understand these sites and explore opportunities for their future use.

La Ciudad de Tolleson continúa trabajando para apoyar la limpieza y revitalización de propiedades en nuestra comunidad.
En octubre de 2023, la Ciudad recibió una subvención de $500,000 de la Agencia de Protección Ambiental de Estados Unidos (EPA) para el Programa Brownfields. Estos fondos se pueden usar para identificar y evaluar propiedades, planear posibles trabajos de limpieza, crear un inventario de sitios Brownfields y mantener informada a la comunidad.
Las actividades financiadas por esta subvención se enfocarán en propiedades dentro de los límites de la Ciudad de Tolleson, ayudándonos a conocer mejor estos sitios y explorar oportunidades para su uso en el futuro.
