❤️🖤💚 The City of Tolleson proudly proclaims June 19, 2026, as Juneteenth Freedom Day in the City of Tolleson.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a time to reflect on freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

In celebration of Juneteenth, we invite the community to join us for a special musical performance by Painted Soul, Thursday, June 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Tolleson Civic Center – Council Chambers.

We look forward to coming together to honor this important day through music, reflection, and community.

The City of Tolleson is proud to participate in the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Heat Relief Program by helping our community stay cool and hydrated during the hot summer months.

Hydration stations are available at:
📍 Tolleson Police Department — April through September
📍 Tolleson Fire Department — April through November

In addition, our fire trucks and Field Operations/Streets teams carry ice chests with water year-round for anyone who may be in need.

A special thank you to Albertsons for generously donating water to support our Fire Department and community efforts.

Please remember to stay cool, stay hydrated, and look out for one another this summer! ☀️💧
