Little Leaps is back for another music and movement class for ages 2 - 4. This month's theme is An Ocean Journey. Led by dance instructor Julianne Guarnieri this program includes: opening circle movement activity, locomotor warm up, stationary ballet skills, stretches, creative movement, and freeze dances. This will also include a read-out-loud of Swimmy by Leo Lionni

Space is limited to 18 toddlers for this program, so registration is required. ONLY register for the child (or children attending). Sponsored by the Friends of Tolland Public Library.

Leave It To Beavers- DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist Ginny Apple will discuss beavers as a keystone species, beaver biology, behavior, and history. Included in the talk will be the unique role of nature’s engineers in shaping North American landscapes as well as explain how beaver ponds and wetlands can help us fight environmental problems from water pollution to erosion and climate change.

Teens come on in and join us on Wednesday, May 27, at 5:00 PM in the Program Room for our Pet Toy & Blanket Making Workshop. Celebrate National Pet Month and earn service hours at the same time! To register, please visit tollandct.libcal.com/event/16805297

In this casual workshop for teens, we will be creating toys and blankets for cats and dogs in area shelters. All supplies will be provided. Pizza will be served for participants and a toy or blanket may be made to take home for a beloved pet as well. Open to ages 12 -18. This program is made possible through a grant from the Tolland Community Fund at Greater Hartford Gives. Please register. Space is limited.
