This little one was transported to Wildthunder Wildlife & Animal Rehabilitation & Sanctuary yesterday for a little extra help in reaching its best adulthood self.

Thanks for all you do, Tracy Belle and your staff and volunteers! So many creatures they help out and get back out into the wild where they belong!

July 8, 15 and July 29 (all other dates are filled). This series is for 11-14 year olds and focuses on a different set of outdoor skills each week. You can sign up for individual or multiple dates.

We had a great time representing Tama County Conservation-new pg at The Gladbrook Corn Carnival Parade. Our parade entry certainly didn't win any trophies, but parades aren't about the trophies they are about the CANDY!! And we finished the parade with an empty candy bucket, so we'll call it a WIN!!!

It’s Camp season again! And even tho the second day was rained out yesterday, things started off great with Camp Essentials this week! We caught a ton of fish before the storm rolled in and then saw a ton of lightning (from the safety of the nature center)!
