Offering our thoughts and prayers for the family of Robert Marihugh and the Defiance Fire Department.

Our brother has answered his final alarm. He was a retired Chief of the Defiance Fire Department and served as our association President from 1983 - 1984.

He also was a long time instructor at our Regional Fire School. Funeral Services will be posted when we receive them.

Fire Chief Allison Armstrong and the station 5 river rats begrudgingly donned some Estero Fire Rescue and Florida Everblades threads this morning as our Toledo Walleye came up a little short in the Kelly Cup finals. All kidding aside, congrats to the team down south! We’ll be looking for you next season for a little unfinished business.

“Not all hero's wear capes! It seems like cops get a bad rep a lot these days bc of things going on in the world so I wanted to post something positive today! This van needed a jump next to Chili's and I saw an officer pull over to help them out! That is definitely not in their job description and he didn't have to help, but he did! I just wanted to publicly thank the good officer and encourage more people to help one another out in a world that seems so cold and heartless anymore! Thank you kind sir!”

Top of the Day to Ya Lucas County! We need your help catching this “LepreCON”! This rainbow will be ending at 1622 Spielbusch Avenue. Luke Matthew Short is currently wanted by the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, Oregon Municipal Court, and Wood County Sheriff’s Office. Hopefully that three leaf clover is lucky Luke!
