Many of our special events require advance prep, staffing, supplies, and coordination with outside partners. As a general policy, special events require a minimum of 4 enrolled children in order to be held.

Join us on 6/13 at 10AM for Toileting the Montessori Way with Rachel Seiple, Certified Montessory School Teacher.

People ask me often if, as the owner of a playspace, we ever visit the other local playspaces in the Toledo area.

And the answer is absolutely yes. 🤍

I would never expect families to only ever be loyal to one place. Of course, we love and appreciate our loyal DOT families more than I can say, but as a mom, a pediatric OT, and someone who truly knows and loves child development, I also really appreciate variety. Every playspace in our area has something different to offer, and I think that is such a beautiful thing for families in Toledo.

My own kids spend a lot of time with me at DOT, so as much as we love it there, it does not always feel like a “special outing” for them when they are coming to work with me. On days that I am not working, we love getting out and checking out other spaces, too.

Today we visited Lamb and Littles Play Cafe and we absolutely loved it. Their space is so cute, calm, and inviting. The coffee was delicious, everything felt clean and thoughtfully done, and Nolan had the best time playing. We will definitely be back!

We are so happy to have Lamb & Littles as part of the playspace community here in Toledo, and I would definitely recommend checking them out if you have not been yet.

And even more exciting, DOT Playspace will be partnering with them for a Zumbini pop-up at Lamb & Littles in June!

DOT Occupational Therapy will soon be accepting both Anthem commercial insurance plans AND Medical Mutual plans beginning mid-summer!
We’re so excited to continue making OT services more accessible for families in our community 💙 Evaluations are now being scheduled for mid-July, and we’ll share the official in-network launch date as soon as it is finalized!
If you’ve been considering OT services for your child, now is a great time to reach out and get started ✨
