TATS: Toledo Area Transgender Support

TATS: Toledo Area Transgender Support T.A.T.S. (Toledo Area Transgender Support) is Northwest Ohio's local transgender support group. We welcome new members who are LGBT and their allies to attend!

We are a transgender support group that meets every 4th Sunday of the month from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. We meet in the Equality Toledo space at Planned Parenthood, 1301 Jefferson. Our Purpose: We are here to educate and be educated by our members. This is a place to exchange information and experiences. We are not therapists, and we cannot tell you what to do in certain situations. The best we can do,

is share our experience, and let you determine the best course of action for yourself. It is our desire to see everyone life a full and happy life in their desired gender. We will try to help those questioning their gender, support for their self-discovery, transition, and how to blend into society seamlessly.

Since Lucas County is under a Level 1 Snow Emergency, we are canceling today's support group. Hopefully, we'll see everyone in February.

Since 2012, TJFP continues to support and center grassroots, trans justice groups run by and for trans people. Through a community-run non-charitable trust led by a panel of trans justice activists, we distribute no strings attached grants three times a year.

To kick off another year of funding trans justice, Cycle 1 grant applications on January 23! Applications open Jan 23rd and close February 15th at 12a PT/ 3a ET.

Reminder: our grantee portal allows applicants to apply, revise applications and share their payment information all in one place. Our eligibility criteria has not changed and can be view on: transjusticefundingproject.org.

Unable to submit an application during this first cycle? TJFP will have two more grant cycles to apply in April and July.
