Thank you, Glass City Wranglers!
We are beyond grateful to be the recipients of donations from their first Golf Outing fundraiser!
This week, they donated $2,000 to our Veteran Directed Care Program, which offers Veterans and their caregivers greater access, choice, and control over the long-term services and supports (LTSS) that help them live at home and remain a part of their community.
(This program is funded by the VA.)
This donation means we can successfully continue to assist veterans across NW Ohio with the care they deserve!

lunch tickets for next weeks 60+ Safari are now closed! The event is still FREE for older adults aged 60+ to come and grab vital local resources and explore the zoo but the lunch portion requires a ticket that are now closed!

Hi Friends!
The 2026 Helping with Homestead Tour is coming to the 60+ Safari! Officals with the Lucas County Auditor's Office Katie Moline for Lucas County Auditor will be at the event at the Toledo Zoo next Wednesday from 10am to 2pm at the Malwai Center.
Officials will help you apply and answer any questions you have about the Homestead Exemption.
If you cannot attend our event -- they will be at the following locations helping you apply!

Justin Moor the President/CEO of the Area Office on Aging is speaking alongside The Ability Center and The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio advocating to make Toledo/Lucas County more disability friendly during the Disability Public Policy Agenda at today’s City Council meeting. We’re fighting to make Toledo more livable for all, for those living with disabilities and the case that you should become disabled for a number of reasons. The AOoA work daily to help older adults and those living with disabilities to live Better & Longer. Let’s make Toledo/Lucas County more accessible friendly to all!
