As any tone chaser knows, it's a journey. A journey which may have multiple stops, but without a final destination. So, naturally, immediately after recording the drone tone video, I had more ideas of what I'd like to hear.
While the last video was aimed more toward usable tones for droning, this I am utilizing for doom/stoner metal, and more likely going to be close to the final tone of the upcoming gothic horror project.
Enough about that, onto the signal path:
Saturnworks active splitter
Output 1 going into MXR Sub Octave bass fuzz
Carcosa
Verellen Meatsmoke Preamp
Utilizing the Recording Output direct into interface

Output 2 going into Life Pedal then into SVT CL
Also direct into interface

This recording has no plugins, no editing, just straight tone.
I feel the Life Pedal rolls off enough sub before the amp to make micing the cab unneccesary. The Recording Output of the Meatsmoke has a cab sim, once again helping eliminate the need for mics. Let me know what you think about this set up and tone in the comments!
