Good evening GPA Families! Camp Invention is going to take place from June 8 - 12! We do have a number of spots for volunteers at various times of the day during that week. We need as many volunteers as I can get that week. I usually have 4 parents in the morning, checking in families, and at the end of the day, signing out kiddos. The other thing we need is parents who can help with snack (a quick 15 minutes, then wipe the tables) and lunch (the students eat, then we wipe the tables and sweep the floor). If you can, or if you have family members who can come over and help out, we would sooooo appreciate it! We will have at least 1 staff member who will be helping in the cafeteria, so you won't be alone.

Dear Grove Patterson Academy Field Day Volunteers,

What a day! Field Day 2026 was an incredible success, and it simply would not have been possible without each and every one of you.

From the moment you checked in this morning to the very last rotation of the day, your enthusiasm, patience, and dedication made all the difference. You kept students safe, kept the energy high, and helped create memories that our kids will be talking about for a long time.

This event is our way of celebrating all the hard work and growth our GPA students have shown throughout the year — and because of you, it was everything we hoped it would be and more.

A few highlights we will not soon forget:
• The smiles and laughter at every station across campus
• The teamwork between our volunteers and our 8th grade student assistants
• The spirit and joy our students brought to every activity

Thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your heart to our school community. We are so fortunate to have families who show up the way you the way you do.

We hope you had as much fun as the students did — you certainly earned it!
