May is Community Action Month, and it's a time to recognize the impact of Community Action and an opportunity for Pathway, Inc. to listen to the needs of our community.

Pathway, Inc. is asking community members to share their experiences, challenges, and priorities through a short survey. Your input will help us better understand everyday needs and plan stronger programs for the future.

Everything you share is confidential, and participating (or not) will never affect your ability to receive services.

The survey takes about 10–15 minutes to complete and is open to residents of Lucas County, 18 and older.

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in Pathway, Inc.’s Summer Youth Employment Program. At this time, we would like to inform our community that applications for the 2026 program are now closed.

We recognize that many young individuals continue to seek meaningful employment and career development opportunities and remain committed to connecting individuals with valuable resources. If you or someone you know is still seeking support, we encourage you to explore the Lucas County Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP). This innovative program serves work-eligible youth and young adults, ages 14–24, by helping them build sustainable career paths, gain work experience, and break the cycle of poverty.

• No online or email submissions will be accepted!

📥 Applications must be complete with ALL documents attached to be accepted and considered. No originals – copies only!
Completed Applications with checklist documents will only be accepted on these dates.

📎 Required documents include:
• 2026 Summer Youth Employment Application
• Valid student ID and/or current school registration
• Completed and Signed Minor Work Permit (ages 14-15) (available in the agency lobby)
• Valid Parent/Guardian photo ID
• Birth Certificates for all household members
• Income verification (last 30 days of pay stubs and/or proof of benefits such as WIC, SNAP, Cash Assistance, child support, etc.)
• Zero Income Verification Form (for household members age 18+ with no income

Our Final Super Tuesday Event for the Winter Crisis Program Assistance is on March 17, 2026.

The Winter Crisis Program offers qualifying households a one-time benefit to help with utility emergencies, including disconnection prevention, reconnecting or starting service, furnace repair, and bulk fuel assistance.

✅ No appointment needed — just walk in!

Please bring the following documents to ensure your visit goes smoothly:
📝 Proof of citizenship or legal residency (example: birth certificate) for everyone in the household
🆔 Social Security cards for all household members, regardless of age
💵 Proof of income for the past 30 days for all household members age 18+ (excluding self-employment & seasonal income)
📊 Self-employed or seasonal workers: please provide 12 months of income documentation
📜 Letter of support (if applicable)
🔌 Current gas and electric bills (regardless of account status)
