Lucas County Suicide Prevention Vision: a community coalition, open to all, working together for life It meets to discuss prevention activities and to exchange information.

Strategy: The Lucas County Suicide Prevention Coalition seeks the elimination of all suicide attempts and completions in Lucas County. The larger coalition is comprised of citizens from the community interested in preventing suicides/attempts. The leadership Board meets more frequently and sets the agenda for the coalition and develops multiple activities aimed at eliminating suicides in Lucas Cou

nty. It is comprised of leaders in suicide prevention, survivors of suicide and professional staff who value collaboration and consensus decision making as a means of fulfilling its mission
