What an amazing way to kick off 125 years! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our celebration—our dedicated board members, hardworking staff, supportive families, and incredible community partners.

Your continued support allows us to grow, serve, and strengthen our community every single day.

We’re more than just a building, we're a community.

The East Toledo Family Center hosts beloved family events throughout the year, including Breakfast with the Bunny, Nickel Dash 5K, Trunk & Treat, East Toledo Christmas Parade, College & Career Night, a Mental Health Fair, and our Winter Gear Drive.

We also operate a Clothing Pantry and connect families to vital resources like GED programming, financial coaching, and more. For 125 years, ETFC has been the one-stop shop for serving East Toledo families, and we're celebrating!

Join us at our kick-off event on Thursday, April 30th from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Glass City Enrichment Center.

Did you know?

On September 18, 1971, the brand-new East Toledo Family Center was dedicated at its current home on Varland Avenue, with 500 people in attendance!

After 70 years on Vinal Street, the Neighborhood House had outgrown its original location and needed a bigger space to match its bigger mission.

The new building was open 70 hours a week and served 1,696 members in its first year alone. In 2002, it was renamed the Warren Densmore Building in honor of ETFC's beloved long-time director.

Now, as we approach 125 years, a new facility expansion project is on the horizon.
