Responsibly dispose of your items at the first City of Toledo Clean Toledo event of the year! ♻️ This is a fantastic opportunity provided by the City to assist residents - make sure to take advantage of it.

The first Clean Toledo Recycling mobile event is coming up on Saturday, June 13, from 9 AM to 1 PM. This free event is open to City of Toledo residents.

Residents can bring acceptable items for proper disposal. ⬇️
✅ Up to 10 tires on or off the rim ($0.50 each)
✅ Paint
✅ Paper
✅ Cardboard
✅ Sticks, branches, leaves, and grass clippings
✅ Electronics
✅ Non-food styrofoam
✅ Scrap Metal
✅ Bulky items: air conditioner, refrigerator, large appliances

Volunteer with us at our community litter cleanup and then enjoy green networking at our June Green Drinks! ✅

On Tuesday June 16th at The Blarney Event Center attendees will meet to complete a litter cleanup from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. From 5:00 to 7:00 PM attendees can connect with environmental & community minded folks at the Blarney Event Center. Non-alcoholic options are available.

Greenhouse trays/containers and boat wrap cannot be recycled in your curbside recycling bin or at Lucas County Solid Waste Management District Recycling Drop-Off sites. Stop by Chase Stemm Academy (600 Bassett St) from 4:30 to 6:30 PM tomorrow to drop off your clean & dry greenhouse containers (no dirt!) and boat wrap (no nylon straps or other materials!) for recycling. Cant make it tomorrow? Hit up our next one:

Earlier this May, we hosted our last EcoSystems Workshop of the year with the Toledo Mindfulness Institute 🌿

At this special workshop - participants were able to break ground on the new Toledo Lucas County Public Library site at Glendale and South Detroit with the planting of a total of 10 trees - Redbud and Maple 🌳

We’re excited to have been a small part in this new community hub that will foster learning and community in South Toledo!

The first of 13 murals on the Veterans’ Glass City Skyway Bridge is complete, honoring the service, sacrifice and legacy of those who wore the uniform 🇺🇸

When completed, this will be the largest veteran's mural in the world. Standing as an enduring reminder of the men and women who served, thanking them for their service and sacrifice.
