We were honored to have been joined by the wonderful students, teachers, and parents of Elmhurst Elementary at our last City Council meeting! The students wrote letters to advocate for new playground equipment at Elmhurst Park and we are SO excited to see this project completed.

Tonight at the City Council meeting, some of our Elmhurst Students, who wrote letters, got to see the next steps in the dream of a new playground, become reality.

The City of Toledo Council, with recommendation from District 5 Representative, Sam Melden, allocated and approved funds to partner with the Toledo Parks Department, Toledo Public Schools and Elmhurst PTA to make some major improvements to the park our students use daily.

Stay tuned for more updates and how you can help PTA fundraising efforts.
