Genacross Lutheran Services Genacross Lutheran Services, formerly Lutheran Homes Society, provides care across generations.

Every day, the ministries of Genacross Lutheran Services touch the lives of individuals and families throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Genacross provides a continuum of care and services that focus on enhancing people’s lives, while fostering hope, healing, and growth. We care for people throughout all stages of life’s journey, serving many generations, and we are thoughtful in the ways we engage with people of different ages, backgrounds, and faiths. Our far-reaching service line includes Family & Youth Services, Affordable Housing, Home Health, Rehabilitation, Community Services (including mental health counseling and adult day care), and Senior Living options. While our rich heritage spans more than 160 years, we embrace change and innovation so that our charitable ministry continues to evolve to meet current needs. We are supported by nearly 170 Lutheran congregations across the region. Our mission, vision, and values provide the framework for how we provide care and services, how we relate to staff and volunteers, and how we serve the community at large.

It's hard to believe it has been 25 years since the September 11, 2001 attacks. We remember the unimaginable loss of the nation, the inspiring stories of bravery, compassion, and unity, and the acts of service we witnessed. The memories have rippled through the decades. What exciting news. Congratulations, Ethan!

Congratulations to Ethan Brown, who currently works as a STNA in the Health Center at the Genacross Lutheran Services-Napoleon Campus, for being the latest recipient of the Carl W. Klein Jr. Scholarship for Staff Development. Mike George, Executive Director of the Foundation, recently presented Ethan with a check that will support his education at Northwest State Community College, where Ethan is studying to become a registered nurse. Genacross is excited to play a role in his academic journey!
