Back on December 13, 2022 Wild Ones, Oak Openings region, gave our church and our nature park the President's Award for educating the public on the importance of native plants. Don Godfrey, Lynn Godfrey and Rex Browns have done so much work out there to replace the invasive plants with native plants, keep up the great work!!
They also meet with specialists to help with the work and anyone is welcome from the nearby area to help or to just walk the trails and visit. The CITWC Nature Park is open from 8 am - sunset, Monday thru Saturday; and 1 pm to sunset on Sundays. We have trails that range from 40 ft to 0.28 miles. Questions? Call 419-865-6886.
