Lucas County Young Democrats The Lucas County Young Democrats are the official youth arm of the Lucas County Democratic Party.

The Lucas County Young Democrats are the progressive youth arm of the Lucas County Democratic Party. LCYD mobilizes young progressives, ages 18-40 to participate in the electoral process, influence the ideals of the Party and develop the skills of the next generation of leaders at the local and national level. Our group has a variety of activities for any level of political interest. We run traini

ngs for activists and candidates, provide volunteers to local campaigns, host fundraisers and do outreach and recruitment at local festivals and events. We also have members who run local campaigns, act as the principal local organizers for senate, house and presidential campaigns, and some of us even run for (and win) local office. We are affiliated with the Ohio Young Democrats and are a club of the Lucas County Democratic Party.
