When at that time, they heard a voice from above, beckoning from a blinding light. And the truck crew said "it is not here. It has risen".

Shout out and special thanks to Coleton Wilson, owner of Box L Plumbing. He and his crew did an awesome job installing water spigots in the bays at Tolar Fire Station 90 in Tolar. They also installed the plumbing at our new Station 91 in the Paluxy area. Their honesty, professionalism, attention to detail, and generosity are second to none. Prescribed Burn alert- You may see smoke in the area of Starr Hollow Rd and Bluff Dale Rd due to a prescribed burn being conducted by a ranch owner.

Brushy Rd Fire Update:
Fire has been updated to 95% contained. Texas Forest Service will be returning tomorrow 1/9/26. All local FD’s have cleared and turned over the remainder of the incident to Texas Forest Service

After hours of firefighting, back burning and overnight hot spot control, the Brushy Road fire is now 75% contained at approximately 40 acres. Crews are continuing to build lines around the fire and monitor the lines. You might see smoke later in the day due to a few hours of favorable fire weather conditions this afternoon.

At approx. 1:30 this morning, July 21st, the Tolar VFD responded on automatic aid to the 500 blk. of Longhorn Trail in Granbury to a structure fire with reported victims trapped on the second floor. Upon arrival Tolar VFD crews along with a DCBE firefighter immediately initiated a window entry search on the second floor. A victim was quickly located and then removed from the second story window. A second victim was then located and removed via the same window. The victims later succumbed to their injuries. Tolar, Granbury, DCBE, Cresson, Indian Harbor, and Pecan Plantation VFD's then battled the fire and performed extensive "mop up".
