NOTICE: We will be having tree work done in the Park beginning on Thursday, June 4th. Please be advised that sections of our natural walking trail and sections of the park will be closed throughout the day on Thursday and Friday.

The much needed rain was so welcomed and our park looks amazing! A big thanks to our hard working staff! 👏 🌳 ☀️
Please make sure you read and follow all Park Rules while enjoying our park and as a reminder, children are not allowed to play in the sand on the Volleyball Court. No pets are allowed on the basketball/tennis courts, dogs must be on a leash at all times and no sidewalk chalk or scooters, skateboards, roller blades, skates etc. are allowed and bicycles only are allowed on the asphalt trails. Thank you!

Village Hall will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Garbage services will run on a one day delay next week due to the landfill being closed Monday.

Budget Hearing Notice

The proposed Budget for the Village of Tobaccoville for Fiscal 2026-2027 has been submitted to the Council and is available for public inspection at Village Hall located at 4260 Tobaccoville Road, Tobaccoville, NC 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Village will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Village Hall for the purpose of receiving comments. Persons wishing to be heard are invited to make written or oral comments. NCGS 159-12

NOTICE: Garbage Services will be on a one day delay next week in observance of Memorial Day. No garbage pickup on Monday, Mondays route will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesdays route will be picked up on Wednesday and the Blue recycling route will be picked up on Thursday. As a reminder, ALL GARBAGE MUST BE BAGGED, NOT LOOSE IN YOUR CART. Yard waste (dirt/leaves, etc.) and electronics do not go in your cart and will not be picked up. Recycling should be loose in your recycling cart. Please make sure the correct cart is out on the correct day.
