We are participating with all Dutchess County Libraries to collect food and personal care items for local food pantries. All food items collected at the Tivoli Library will benefit Red Hook Responds' pantry at the Red Hook Community Center. Personal Care items will be put in the Tivoli Personal Care Closet at the back door of the Village Hall.
In mid October we will see who collected more Dutchess or Ulster County Libraries.

Exciting news! We’re partnering with Kaatsbaan Cultural Park and Tivoli Free Library to celebrate Tivoli First Fridays! Join us on September 4th from 5 PM - 6 PM for "Cita en Bici / Bike Date." Fine artist, Laura Curry, will share her artistic insights and hands-on tips for simple bike maintenance. Bring your bike and gear, or just come to learn! See you there!

DETAILS:
September 4th
5 PM - 6 PM – Learn about Cita en Bici / Bike Date. Laura will share her artistic research and hands on advice for simple bike maintenance. Learn about Curry's research project created while sharing stories with a sisterhood of cyclists. Meet at Tivoli Free Library with or without your bike/recommended gear (listed below): Bike, helmet, lock.

If you need chain cleaned:
a grease rag - one or two without nap (don't want loose fibers or threads getting into chain)
an old toothbrush
bike chain l**e - this can be found in any bike shop (Laura uses Tri-Flow Superior L**e).
an Allen wrench set (some will be available on site to borrow)
If you need a new tire/tube: set of tire levers, tube that fits your tire (make sure you know if your tubes are Presta or Schrader), and tire pump.

Join us for a special event where you can bring your rock collection and have a conversation with geologist Becky Nesel! We’ll discuss the fascinating local geology that these rocks represent.

Rock Climbing Wall
AUGUST 12, 2pm
Join us for our end-of-summer reading party! Celebrate your accomplishments in summer reading by climbing a 24-foot climbing wall. Enjoy bubbles and delicious snacks while you have fun with fellow readers. This event is hosted in collaboration with the Red Hook Library, so don’t miss out on the celebration!

Dinosaurs - Traveling Discovery Museum
