Yesterday, the Tiverton Fire Department placed our newly purchased Lucas Devices in service on our ambulances. The Lucas is an automated compression device that is designed to provide constant, consistent, and quality chest compressions for patients in cardiac arrest. These devices have been shown to greatly improve a patient’s outcome.
