In honor of 9/11 yesterday, the City of Titusville had a member attend the 25th anniversary ceremony held at the Crawford County Courthouse, followed by performing the stair climb held at the Fairgrounds grandstands. It was an honor to attend both of these events put on by the Crawford county commissioners and the Meadville City Fire Department.

The duty crew would like to thank all of the donations received, thank you Fat Chads for the wings. Also the members thank Miss Aul’s class for visiting the station to bring the bags of treats for all of the staff! It was a great to spend time with you! Also thank you to the community members for all of the support!

FIRST WARNING WEATHER: This next cluster of storms moving onshore off Cleveland are very concerning. NWS has opted to use the rare "Destructive" tag for the Severe Thunderstorm Warning (which triggers Wireless Emergency Alerts). This means wind gusts could be up to 80 MPH, Category 1 hurricane force. We need to watch this cluster and how it behaves as it could cause more problems as it moves into Northwestern PA. - Dakota Hunter

Today (8/7) beginning at 11am, members from L3409 will be at various intersections throughout the city doing Fill the Boot, all donations will be donated to local charities.
