💚 The Indian River Lagoon Is Healing💚
Across the lagoon, we’re beginning to see real signs of progress: improving water quality in some areas, returning wildlife, and growing community awareness. These are hopeful signs, and they show that our collective efforts are making a difference.
But healing the Indian River Lagoon doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, resources, and ongoing stewardship. Decades of damage can’t be undone quickly, and long-term recovery depends on continued investment, science-based solutions, and everyday actions from people who care.
Every native plant planted, every septic upgrade, every storm drain kept clean, and every advocate speaking up helps move the lagoon toward a healthier future.
Progress is happening. The work continues. And together, we are part of the solution. 🌊
