Trail Glow-Up! 🌿🚲🎨

Back in 2019, we completed a popular trail improvement project along the bike trail from Martin Street to Brown Street beside Oil Creek. We cleared brush, installed benches and bike racks, added 10 solar lights to brighten the way, and commissioned a beautiful mural by local artist Berry Breene.

Six years later, the trail was still getting heavy use by thousands of visitors, but the brush had crept back in, blocking views of Oil Creek for walkers and bikers. So this summer, Titusville Community Development Agencies, brought in equipment and our maintenance crew got to work!

After a full day of brush clearing, the trail is looking fresh again!

The Greater Titusville Development Foundation is preparing to apply for the Main Street Matters Business Improvement Grant — and we’re looking for downtown businesses to participate!

This grant helps fund interior business upgrades through a 50/50 match of up to $5,000. That means your total project could be $10,000, with half covered by the grant.

✅ Eligible improvements include:
• Capital purchases for your business
• Structural or interior improvements
• Hardware, software, and connectivity upgrades
• Professional marketing and promotion activities

If you've been thinking about improving your space, upgrading equipment, boosting your online presence, or investing in marketing — now is the time!

Today is the last day to help support this great cause for our Community!

Goal - $6,900

This year, the Greater Titusville Development Foundation is partnering with the City of Titusville to raise money to install three brand-new Communication Boards located in Burgess Park, Robert’s Grove, and the Ed Myer Complex in Titusville, PA.

Communication boards are 3'x 5' framed boards installed directly in the ground displaying over 60 photos, symbols, and illustrations to assist people with diverse language skills, including those with non-verbal autism, to more fully express themselves.

Why are we supporting the Communication Board Project during the Crawford Gives online giving event??? Let's hear directly from a parent of a non-verbal child:

"Hi everyone!

My name is Marissa and I have a 5 year old son. His name is Korbin and he is autistic and non speaking. I have made it a priority in my life to advocate for children and adults like my son. He uses an aac device for communication. It is an iPad that utilizes a program used for communication.

The communication boards we are currently fundraising for will be used to provide easy and inclusive communication for children and adults that are non speaking and/or use devices like my son.

Being autistic and non speaking can be so overwhelming in a society built for speaking people.

It is my goal to make Titusville a more inclusive place for our autism community and these boards are a tremendous step in the right direction!"

The project we are promoting is an important addition to our City parks and will help children in our Community. So far, we have raise $615, but we are a long way from our goal of $6,900! There is still time, the online giving event by Crawford Gives doesn't end until 11:59 PM!
