The birds are on the way!!

Florida’s nesting season is November to April and we are so excited to see them when they get here!

The water is really high in the lagoon right now, so no flamingos at the island in a while. We have been spotting more kingfishers lately!

About 260-310M birds are predicted to migrate across the U.S. each night this weekend!

Lights at night can be very disorienting to birds during their long fall migration. To help prevent deadly bird collisions, turn off or dim unnecessary lights!

Only 3 weeks left of Paddleboard Fridays! Join us 9/11 at 10am for a guided paddleboard mini-tour in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge!

Explore our beautiful sea grass beds, the cornerstone for the entire Indian River Lagoon estuary! Spot manatees, dolphins, birds, fish, horseshoe crabs, blue crabs, comb jellies and lots of other invertebrates!

Perfect for kiddos and complete beginners. No standing requried!
Only 1 hour, and we stay close to the launch beach.
$30pp and $10 add-on to share a board (max 250 lbs combined)

We will be cleaning out our adopted area in MINWR during International Coastal Cleanup Day (SE Haulover Canal fishing trail). This kicks off our once-a-month cleanup series from September to April!

Today’s paddle board mini tours had so much marine life; it was magical! There were schools of different species of fish swimming all around us, pockets of comb jellies, tons of dolphins jumping and hunting, and this manatee came to hang out with us for about 10 minutes! 🥹

Come paddle with us next week! Paddle board mini tours are on Friday mornings (August and September) and are only one hour long. We explore seagrass habitat in a shallow cove near the launch beach and look for fish, rays, crabs, jellies, dolphins, manatees, and other organisms that live in this amazing habitat.

$30 pp includes everything you need. Homeschool families: This is a Step Up for Students approved activity and we are a direct pay provider!

This is perfect for paddle board newbies and kiddos. Standing is always optional. Board sharing is available for $10 add on.☀️🏝️🐬

Every Friday, join us as we explore sea grass beds to learn about these amazing habitats from the unique perspective of a paddleboard!

Mini-tours are a 1-hour adventure that explores the the shoreline of a shallow, sheltered cove next to our launch site in the Indian River Lagoon. We look for rays, fish, birds, crabs and other invertebrates that live in the sea grass habitats.

This a family and beginner-friendly adventure for ages 4+. Standing is always optional, you can comfortably sit or kneel.

$30 per person includes board, paddle, PFD, dedicated guide, and paddle lesson. Younger children can share a board with a parent or older sibling for a $10 add-on.
