The family and friends of Deputy Derrick Bonham as well as the Weakley County Sheriff's Office and Martin PD are in our prayers today and will remain in our prayers in the days to come. May God provide strength and peace that can only come from him in this unimaginably difficult time.

If you know of anyone who needs a welfare check during the upcoming winter storm please reach out to the sheriff's office at 731-253-7791. We want to keep everyone off the roads as much as possible, but still check on each other as we get through the upcoming days. As always, in the event of an emergency please call 911.

Winter weather is on the way, and now’s a good time to check on your neighbors - especially older adults, people with disabilities, or anyone who may need a little extra help. A quick call or knock can make sure everyone knows what’s coming and has what they need to stay safe.

(January 22, 2026 | 4:30 p.m. CT): Governor Bill Lee has issued a State of Emergency for all 95 Tennessee counties as we prepare for a potential major winter storm this weekend. Snow, ice, freezing rain, and prolonged freezing temperatures are possible across the state.
