🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day, Tipton County! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the people who make our communities stronger—those who show up, work hard, lend a hand, build businesses, care for others, grow our food, teach our children, and serve their neighbors.

Labor Day is a reminder that our community is built by people who care enough to contribute. From local farmers and small-business owners to educators, healthcare workers, tradespeople, volunteers, and countless others, your hard work helps make Tipton County a place we’re proud to call home.

Today, we hope you take a well-deserved break, enjoy time with family and friends, and celebrate the people who make Tipton County special.

The Tipton County Foundation office is closed today in observance of Labor Day. We’ll see you tomorrow!

Happy Labor Day!

There is more than one way to make a lasting impact in Tipton County.

Whether you're passionate about education, the arts, youth development, community improvement, or meeting emerging needs, the Tipton County Foundation offers a variety of ways to give that align with your charitable goals.

• Give to an existing fund that supports causes you care about.
• Establish a named fund to create a lasting legacy for your family or organization.
• Make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one.
• Include the Foundation in your estate plans through a bequest or planned gift.
• Support unrestricted community grantmaking to help address Tipton County's greatest needs today and tomorrow.

Don't forget about matching opportunities! TCF offers different matching opportunities throughout the year that can double—or even quadruple—the impact of your gift. Watch for announcements about current matches and take advantage of these opportunities to make your generosity go even further.

Most importantly, there is no gift too small. Every dollar counts. When combined with the generosity of others, even modest gifts can create meaningful and lasting change throughout our community.

No matter how you choose to give, your generosity helps strengthen Tipton County and improve the quality of life for generations to come.

MYTH vs. FACT

đź’ Myth: The Tipton County Foundation only provides scholarships.

âś… Fact:While scholarships are an important part of our mission, they're only one piece of the puzzle.

Through grants, leadership development, community initiatives, nonprofit support, and charitable giving opportunities, the Foundation works every day to improve the quality of life in Tipton County.

And that's not all...

đź’ Myth: The Foundation only accepts cash donations.

âś… Fact: We can accept a variety of charitable gifts, including stocks, grain, IRA distributions, real estate, and other assets. Many of these giving options may provide valuable tax benefits while helping you create a lasting impact in our community.

For 40 years, the Tipton County Foundation has connected people who care with causes that matter.

Have a question about what we do or how to give? We'd love to talk. Contact Dawn at 765-675-1942, email [email protected].

Did you know? When you make an unrestricted gift to the Tipton County Foundation, your impact automatically grows through our 3:1 Unrestricted Match Program — meaning every $1 becomes $4 for our community.

So, what is an unrestricted gift?

An unrestricted gift is endowed to support the changing needs of Tipton County for generations to come. Unlike designated funds, unrestricted gifts give TCF the flexibility to respond to future opportunities and challenges — including needs we may not even see today.

You can also make a pledge payable through 2030, making it easier to create a lasting impact over time. Gifts of grain also qualify for the 3:1 match program, offering another meaningful way for our agricultural community to give back.

Your generosity helps ensure we can continue strengthening our community, now and in the future.

đź’šInvesting in Youth. Strengthening Our Community.

The Tipton County Foundation is proud to award a grant to The Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Su***de (ICPYAS) to support efforts to educate Tipton County youth and help prevent su***de in our community.

This important work is made possible through the Brandon Cessna Mental Health Endowment Fund and the TCF Community Grantmaking Endowment. These funds allow the Foundation to invest in programs that promote mental health awareness, provide education and resources, and help young people recognize when they or someone they know may need support.

Su***de prevention starts with awareness, connection, and conversation. By investing in our youth today, we are helping build a healthier, more connected and caring Tipton County for tomorrow. đź’š

We are grateful to the donors whose generosity made these endowments possible and to ICPYAS for putting this funding to work to protect and empower young people in our community.

Together, we can make a difference.
