US 31 has been reopened. Multiple County Roads in the southwestern region of Tipton County remain closed due to flooding across the roadway. Do not go around or move barricades. They are placed there for the safety of you and others.

🚨 TRAVEL ALERT 🚨

We are currently deploying law enforcement and road crews from INDOT to the area between SR 28 and CR 600 S/296th St to shut down US 31 due to flooding in the area. Please find a safe alternative route and updates will be forthcoming. County roads on either side of US 31 are also experiencing flooding in this area and are not safely passable. Do not attempt to drive on water covered roadways under these conditions and reduce your speed if driving in the dark.

The Sheriff's Office proudly partners with Tri-Central Elementary School to deliver the DARE program to 5th-grade students.

We recently celebrated the students' successful completion of the 10-week curriculum. Sheriff Tebbe and his team have provided comprehensive instruction on decision-making, bullying awareness, peer relationships, and communication techniques.

We extend our gratitude to the faculty for their support and the students for their engagement.
