🏐 RECORD BREAKER! 🏐Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School senior Faith Siefring, who has become the THS volleyball record holder for career digs!🌟👏🏻Faith’s hard work, consistency, and determination throughout her high school career have earned her a place in the program record book—and with plenty of volleyball still to be played this season, she isn’t finished yet. Congratulations, Faith! 👏🏐❤️

Broadway Elementary and L.T. Ball Intermediate will have an early release on Friday due to the continued extreme heat. Broadway Elementary will dismiss at 1:15 PM, and L.T. Ball will dismiss at 1:20 PM. Broadway Elementary does not have air conditioning, and indoor temperatures are expected to reach levels that could significantly impact student learning and the school environment. Because the schools’ transportation schedules are connected, both schools will dismiss early. TMS and THS will operate on their regular schedules. Families should make any necessary arrangements for the earlier dismissal. Thank you for your understanding as we work to provide a safe and effective learning environment for students and staff.

🍰 A sweet way to bring learning to life at Tippecanoe Middle School! Sixth-grade students in Leona Houston’s Global Language Survey class have been exploring cultures from Spanish-speaking countries and regions. This week, students have been sharing what they learned through presentations on topics of their choice. 🌟Daniel Lozoya added an especially delicious touch to his presentation by bringing in a traditional tres leches cake his grandmother made! ❤️Needless to say, the class loved it. 🙂What a fun way to connect culture, family traditions, and learning!

🍎 A big shoutout to our cafeteria teams at Broadway Elementary and L.T. Ball Intermediate!👏🏻When the school day changes, our food service teams have to adjust schedules, reorganize meal preparation, and make sure students are served earlier than usual.🍴Our Broadway and L.T. Ball cafeteria crews handle the change with flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to our students. At Broadway, they do it while working in a kitchen without air conditioning on an already very hot day. 🔥Thank you to these teams for adapting quickly and continuing to take such good care of our students. Behind-the-scenes work makes a difference every day. ❤️

📚 Storytime got a little more animated at Broadway Elementary! First graders were all in for The Book of Rules—especially with Mrs. Woltz leading the way. This is not a sit-still-and-listen kind of story. Students get to follow along with silly directions, make faces, use movements, change their voices, and act out the “rules” as the book unfolds.
And when Mrs. Woltz gets into character, the students are right there with her. 😄

🏈 Congratulations to Tippecanoe Middle School Athlete of the Week Elliot Rice, an 8th-grade football player! Coach Taylor praised Elliot for a tremendous performance in the season opener against Piqua, where he made an impact on both sides of the ball with his effort, physicality, and toughness. 💪🏻One of the biggest moments came in the final seconds, when Elliot recorded a key sack to help prevent Piqua from scoring. Coach Taylor also highlighted Elliot’s team-first mentality after he stepped into a new position following an injury and rose to the challenge.👏🏈
