What a night! 🌊

Last week, the incredible Autumn Elise Vintage & Gallery in Rumson graciously hosted an evening of art, connection, and community, all in support of MHA.

Over 60 guests came out to browse stunning artwork, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and learn more about the work we do every day across Monmouth County.

To Autumn and her entire team, thank you. Your generosity, warmth, and support of our mission means more than words can say. We are so grateful. 🀍

50 miles. One mission.

On June 27, Nigel and Kyle will take on the Hell Hath No Hurry 50 Mile Race in Pittsburgh as part of their Fight with 50 initiative, raising awareness for mental health and supporting the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County.

Inspired by the loss of their father to su***de, this challenge is about honoring his memory, supporting those who are struggling, and helping ensure others have access to the resources they need.

There are two ways to support their effort:
❀️ Make a direct donation to MHA
πŸ‘• Purchase a Fight with 50 shirt, with proceeds benefiting MHA

Every mile raises awareness. Every dollar fuels hope.

Follow their journey:

Thank you, Nigel and Kyle, for turning personal loss into a mission that is helping others. πŸ’™

Happy Pride! πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆβœ¨

We had the wonderful opportunity to walk alongside the Mental Health Association in New Jersey, Inc. at the Asbury Park Pride Parade, celebrating love, inclusion, and acceptance.

We are proud to stand with and uplift the LGBTQ+ community while working toward a world where everyone feels safe to be their authentic selves. Today and every day, we remain committed to promoting acceptance, equality, and mental health awareness for all.

Sometimes the right resource at the right moment can make all the difference.

In this video, Vanessa Schanen shares how a simple visit to MHA's website became something much more meaningful. What started as curiosity quickly became an opportunity to connect someone she deeply cared about with resources and support during a difficult time.

Her story is a powerful reminder that access to clear, trusted mental health information can provide hope, guidance, and even a lifeline when it's needed most.

Join us for Still Waters: A Sip & Shop for MHA, an evening benefiting the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County and supporting our mission to connect individuals and families with mental health resources, education, and support.

June is PTSD Awareness Month.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, and it affects people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. While everyone's experience is different, understanding the signs is an important step toward recognizing when support may be needed.

Common symptoms can include intrusive memories, avoidance, hypervigilance, changes in mood, and sleep disturbances. These experiences can impact daily life, but it's important to know that effective treatment and support are available.

By increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging conversations around mental health, we can help more individuals access the care they deserve.

πŸ’™ PTSD is treatable. Support is available.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.

Too often, men are taught to stay silent, push through, or handle things on their own. But mental health challenges don't discriminate, and asking for support is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength.

Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to carry it alone. Conversations can be powerful, and reaching out for help can be the first step toward healing.

This month, let's continue to break the stigma, encourage open conversations, and remind the men in our lives that support is available.

πŸ’™ You don't have to navigate it alone. Help is available.
