Some beautiful new artwork went up in our office last week! Crafty Creations is a weekly program offered for participants 13 and older to work on crafting, relaxing, and socializing!

This fall, Crafty Creations will be meeting on Thursday nights at Hazel Crest Park District. Registration is available on our website!

All Camp & Family Day was the perfect way to wrap up our day camp season, bringing our campers and their families together for a day of fun-filled activities.

Thank you to Berkot's Super Foods in Homewood for their donation towards lunch.

Our friends at Tinley Park - Park District are hosting a grand opening for their Calm Cabin Sensory Room!

Join us for the Grand Opening of our Calm Cabin Sensory Room at the Bettenhausen Recreation Center! Stop by Wednesday, August 19th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM to explore our new sensory space and see what Calm Cabin has to offer 🧘‍♀️ Giveaways will be available while supplies last!

Earlier this year, we had a group of amazing dancers come out to support SSSRA. The Dancin Deevas partnered with SSSRA to host our first line dancing fundraiser. Ingrid Wilkes - aka the Ultimate Deeva - was the lead instructor for a fun afternoon of dancing. Thank you to everyone who supported this event!

Due to the generosity of the Dancin Deevas, our Let’s Dance program for the fall season is offered at a discounted rate for resident participants. More information in the comments.
