TOWN OF TIMMONSVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND HONORING MR. ISAIAH FLOYD FOR HIS SELFLESS SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF TIMMONSVILLE AND ITS CITIZENS, AND FOR HIS OUTSTANDING MUSICAL ACHIEVEMENTS AS A SELF-TAUGHT SAXOPHONIST

WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Timmonsville recognizes the importance of honoring individuals whose dedication, service, and accomplishments contribute to the betterment of the community; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Isaiah Floyd has demonstrated unwavering commitment and selfless service to the citizens of the Town of Timmonsville through his involvement, support, and positive contributions to the community; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Floyd is a gifted and accomplished self-taught musician who, through determination, perseverance, and passion, has developed exceptional talent as a saxophonist; and

WHEREAS, his musical performances have inspired, uplifted, and enriched the lives of residents and visitors alike, serving as a source of pride for the Town of Timmonsville; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Floyd’s dedication to his craft exemplifies the values of hard work, excellence, and lifelong learning, demonstrating that achievement is possible through commitment and perseverance; and

WHEREAS, his willingness to share his talents with others reflects a spirit of generosity and community service that embodies the very best of the Town of Timmonsville; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council desire to formally recognize and express their sincere appreciation for Mr. Floyd’s contributions and the positive impact he has made upon the Town and its citizens.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Timmonsville, South Carolina, that they hereby commend and honor Mr. Isaiah Floyd for his selfless service, dedication to the community, and outstanding accomplishments as a self-taught saxophonist.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town of Timmonsville extends its deepest gratitude and best wishes to Mr. Floyd and recognizes him as an exemplary citizen whose talents and service have brought distinction and pride to the community.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Forever Young Prom hosted by the Timmonsville Public Library yesterday! It was great to see so many seniors enjoying an afternoon filled with music, dancing, fellowship, and fun.

A special thank you goes to Penny Hayes for her hard work and dedication in planning this memorable event. Your efforts helped create a truly special experience for our senior community.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. We look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate and connect with our seniors!
