Saturday is the Timberville Fall Community Yard Sale. Come out to the stables at American Legion Park for a fun yard sale with over 25 individual yard sales set up. Join us for a fun time!!

Good Morning Timberville!! Get up, get ready, and get out! Come out to the Plains District Community Center for Senior BINGO and/or the Mobile Food Pantry.

Senior BINGO will be held inside the Community Center from 10:00-11:00 AM. Please park in the front parking lot and enter through the front doors.

For the Mobile Food Pantry, enter the line using the entrance on the north end of the parking lot. The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank will be dispensing food to folks experiencing food insecurity from 10:00-11:00 AM.

The post office has notified us that the water bills are currently waiting in Merrifield, VA to be delivered back into town. If you have not received your bill yet, please contact us at the Timberville Town Office at 540-896-7058, send us a Facebook message, or access your bill electronically at www.townoftimberville.com by selecting "make a payment." As a reminder, water bills are due September 15.

To avoid any future delays, sign up today online for electronic billing.

Prepare for a busy Thursday this week!

Thursday morning, Plains District Community Center will have two activities beginning at 10:00 AM. Senior BINGO will take place inside the Community Center from 10:00-11:00 AM. Please park out front, enter the center from the front, and take your chance to win a prize!

In addition to Senior BINGO, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank will be set up along the side of the Community Center providing food to those experiencing food insecurity. Enter the line from the entrance on the north end of the parking lot.

Thursday evening, the Timberville Town Council will meet in the council chambers at 7:00 PM. If you would like to keep up with what is going on, but cannot make it in person, feel free to watch the meeting via the Town of Timberville YouTube page.

Timberville Town Office will be closed today in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Normal business hours will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
