UPDATE****911 CALLS We have received word from the major cell carriers that 911 calls from mobile phones are now being routed to us correctly.

Just in case.....If for any reason you have issues dialing 911 please try dialing 503-842-3442 or text your emergency to "911"

Although the situation was completely out of Tillamook 911's control, we appreciate the public's patience and understanding.

Slow Down. Save Lives. Increased Speed Enforcement happening now.

Slow Down. Save Lives.

The Tillamook Police Department is proud to participate in the National Speed Enforcement Campaign from July 6 – July 31, joining law enforcement agencies across Oregon and the nation in an effort to reduce speed-related crashes and keep our community safe.

Throughout the month, you'll see officers conducting additional traffic enforcement in areas where speeding has been identified as a concern. These extra patrols are made possible through Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) grant funding, meaning they come at no additional cost to local taxpayers.

Why it matters: Speeding remains one of the leading causes of serious injury and fatal crashes. Even driving just a little over the speed limit reduces reaction time and increases the severity of crashes.

This campaign follows our participation in National Distracted Driving Awareness Month this past April, when Tillamook Police dedicated the entire month to education and enforcement focused on distracted driving, also funded through ODOT traffic safety grants.

Traffic safety is a shared responsibility, and together we can help keep Tillamook's roads safe for everyone.
