This year's WinterWalk features the people who were here before Tigard was called Tigard. And guess what? They're still here! Come walk the trail behind the library all winter long to learn about the Kalapuyan Atfalati people, and when you do, enter to win a chance to win this signed print of 'Ancestor Shimkhin', by Kalapuyan artist Steph Littlebird.

Teens, looking for something to do on a day off? Teen Library Council is hosting a showing of a sci-fi masterpiece (PG-13) on the big screen. The movie’s long, but don’t worry; there will be snacks, rocky crafts, and a karaoke break! Thursday, October 22, 3:30-7 p.m., Burgess Community Room. Grades 6-12 welcome!
