Our next big THANK YOU goes out to The Depot Express for donating to support our station pizza program!

Our volunteers spend countless hours at the station, away from their families, so they can be ready to respond when our community needs them. This program provides a meal for the volunteer members staffing the station and keeping ready to respond when the call comes in.

THANK YOU, Homemakers Furniture!

The Tiffin Fire Department would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Homemakers Furniture for their incredibly generous donation of furniture to help us create a new dayroom for our members staffing the fire station.

Our firefighters spend countless hours at the station, often away from their families, ready to answer the call. By having a welcoming space for our members to relax, eat, study, train, and spend time together makes a tremendous difference.

We are incredibly grateful for Homemakers Furniture for supporting the men and women of the Tiffin Fire Department.

We are excited to show off the new graphics and lightbar on our Command Vehicle!

With these upgrades it will increase our visibility and safety while responding and operating on emergency scenes and help in identifying our command vehicle.

A big THANK YOU to Chase Decals of Ames for the great work on the graphics and to Karl Emergency Services of Ankeny for the installation of the lightbar.

If you drove by the Tiffin Fire Station today and noticed it was empty. We are excited to have Tiffin Public Works here painting the apparatus bay lines. This project plays an important role in safety and organization inside the station. By having clearly marked lines help ensure our apparatus are positioned properly and ready to respond when the call comes in.

A huge THANK YOU to Tiffin Public Works and members of the.fire department for helping us get this project completed!

The Tiffin Fire Department is accepting applications year-round for Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs!

We are looking for individuals who live or work within the city limits of Tiffin, as well as certified firefighters and EMTs who live outside the city limits.

You don’t need to know everything. If you are willing to learn, train, and be there when your neighbors need help, we want to hear from you!

MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE

LIVE OR WORK WITHIN TIFFIN?

We are looking for people who:

• Live or work within the city limits of Tiffin.
• Can be available for training, meetings, and department events.
• Are willing to obtain Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and EMT certifications.

No experience is necessary — training is provided!

🚒 LIVE OUTSIDE THE TIFFIN CITY LIMITS?

We also accept applications from individuals who already hold certifications and are willing to serve our community.

Applicants must:

• Hold a Firefighter I certification or higher and/or be a certified EMT.
• Be available for a minimum of one 6–8 hour duty shift per week, between 6 AM and 11 PM.
• EMTs must be willing to obtain Firefighter I and Firefighter II certifications.
• Firefighter I personnel must be willing to obtain Firefighter II and EMT certifications.
