🎉 Exciting News for Ticonderoga Emergency Squad, INC! 🚑

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $3,000 Sylvamo-Ticonderoga Giving Grant!

The grant funding will be used to purchase an interactive smart board for our training room, enhancing our ability to provide both hands-on and virtual training programs. This technology will create a more engaging learning environment, improve collaboration between instructors and students, and allow us to expand training opportunities to our community partners, contracted agencies, including A.E. Phelps Fire & Rescue and Putnam Volunteer Fire Company, as well as members of the emergency response team at Sylvamo-Ticonderoga.

By expanding access to training and continuing education, this investment will help ensure providers are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care to our communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Sylvamo for their commitment to supporting local organizations and investing in the health and safety of our community. Their generosity will have a lasting impact on EMS education and patient care throughout our area.

🇺🇸 A Big Thank You to Dedrick’s Tree Service!🌳

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Tom Dedrick at Dedrick’s Tree Service for his help in repairing the flagpole at our station.

Tom generously volunteered his time, and equipment to help get the job done.

Now the American flag and EMS flag are once again flying proudly in front of our station.

Ticonderoga Emergency Squad Awards 2026 Daniel L. Padula Memorial Scholarship.

TICONDEROGA, NY — The Ticonderoga Emergency Squad is pleased to announce that Isabelle Burroughs has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Daniel L. Padula Memorial Scholarship.

Established in 2001 by Addie Bova, the Daniel L. Padula Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Daniel L. Padula, a longtime physician assistant, captain and medical director of Ticonderoga Emergency Squad, Town Health Officer, veteran, and dedicated community leader. Throughout his life, Dan was committed to improving the health and well-being of others through his service in healthcare, emergency medical services, and public health. The scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Ticonderoga High School senior who plans to pursue a career in a healthcare-related field, helping to support and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Isabelle was selected based on her academic achievements, commitment to community service, and dedication to furthering her education. The members of Ticonderoga Emergency Squad congratulate her on this accomplishment and wish her continued success in her future.
